Chromium is important for proper insulin function and regulation of blood sugar. Clinical studies suggest chromium picolinate may support healthy blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels. Niacin may also support healthy cholesterol levels.
Combined with chromium, it may support both healthysugar and cholesterol levels.
Most U.S. diets are deficient in dietary chromium suggesting the need for supplementation of this trace mineral.
